Nostalgia was formed 30 years ago, based at Stockport, in the North West of England, and specialises in the supply of high quality reclaimed Chimney pieces and grates. Absolutely no replicas or reproductions.

There is always good selection of restored old mantels, register grates, inserts, dog grates, cast iron bedroom surrounds and vintage sanitary ware on display in our large showrooms.

With nearly 3,000 reclaimed surrounds under one roof, dating from the Georgian period through to the Edwardian era (1750 - 1920) always available.

Here is a substantial walnut chimneypiece, well carved with swags of fruit and flowers below a breakfront shelf.

Here is a mid 19th century ormolu mounted veined marble chimneypiece in the Louis XVI style with coved cast iron insert en-suite. We also have many slate and stone surrounds in stock together with many others awaiting restoration, which can be viewed in our workshops.
